The Tools widget grants users access to a number of tools that can be used to explore and share information of the
The "Create Link" tab creates a link that saves your current view and active layers. You can copy this link and save it for later, or share it with friends and family.
The Print tool allows users to take a screenshot of the map as it is displayed in your internet browser and make it printer friendly. It also allows you to choose the paper size used and write notes on the printout.
The notes section allows users to write down information that will be printed along with the screenshot. Users are allowed to enter 350 characters, and up to 3 lines of text in the notes field.

After entering the desired notes and choosing a paper size, press print. After clicking print, another window will pop-up with the map image ready to print. Any notes will appear in the top right side above the map image.
The Measure tool allows users to make measurements of the UCLA campus. Choose what type of measurements you want to make and press the "Start Measurement" button.
The Point option allows taking latitude and longitude geographic measurements.

Express latitude and longitude in degrees minutes and seconds.
The Distance option allows the ability to measure the distance along a line.

The Annotate tab gives you a number of tools that can be used to make notes, mark ups, and comments on the Campus Map. These annotations can then be saved as a file and shared with others.

Clears all drawn annotations from the map. Note: This also clears the history of all the actions you have performed.
Save Annotation to File
The "Save Annotation to File" option allows users to save all of the markups made by the user as a file on the local hard drive. This file can be saved for later or can be shared with others letting users the ability to draw directions and share them with other people.
Load Annotation File
The "Load Annotation File" option loads saved annotation files.
The Weather tab displays the current weather at UCLA and the weather forecast for tomorrow.
